Through its One Simmons strategic plan, Simmons University is pursuing a comprehensive campus redevelopment. The plan’s focal project is the Living & Learning Center, a 19-story, approximately 385,000-square-foot building that integrates residential, dining, wellness, and academic programs.

Brennan was contracted to perform all initial survey control, including verification of vertical and horizontal control and the development of a baseline control plan, which has been distributed to all subcontractors on site. Brennan is responsible for bringing control into the building and establishing it floor by floor. The team will also deliver slab control plans for each level, perform layout and as-built surveys of anchor bolts, and provide full steel layout services. Work is ongoing.
