Brennan Consulting performed mobile laser scanning for a proposed 6 story residential complex between Braintree St and the Massachusetts Turnpike to ensure that a Clear Channel billboard on site would not have it’s visibility from the Turnpike blocked by the 6 story building. The Turnpike and site were laser scanned from the view point of the passenger vehicles. The building was then superimposed on the mobile scan illustrating that the top three floors would partially block the view of the billboard. The sections of the three top floors blocking the view were then calculated and delivered to the architect, who cut back the floors to preserve the view shed.
