Brennan Consulting redesigned an existing four approach, offset unsignalized intersection into a signalized constrained intersection to create a safe vehicular and pedestrian friendly environment in the Town of Ashland. The existing minor roadway approaches experienced limited site distance due to poor vertical geometry on the Route 135 highway.  Staying within the existing ROW, developing creative lane assignments and configurations, and signalizing the intersection, Brennan Consulting created a safe environment.

The intersection was geometrically designed and the traffic control system was developed utilizing a TS-2 EPAC 300 series controller. Traffic Maintenance Plans (TMP) were developed to maintain traffic during the roadway reconstruction, geometric realignments, and traffic signal equipment construction.  Construction documents have been provided and we are awaiting construction.
